The vintage Motor Cycle Club

Welcome to the Wessex Veteran and Vintage Section website. We are a non-territorial, special interest section of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club concentrating primarily on pre-1930 bikes. We meet regularly at the Village Hall, Church Road, Silton Nr Gillingham SP8 5PR. Meetings are normally held on the second Monday of each month starting at 2pm and attract members from all over the South West . However, it's best to check the Latest News in case there are any special activities meaning the start time has to been changed. We also organise runs and other events during the year targeted at Veteran and Vintage bikes and 3-wheelers. These are listed under Events where you will also find the section calendar for download.

Sad to report that Roger Gillard, a long time member of the Wessex V&V Section died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday 12th of October 2024 in the Abbey View Nursing Home Sherborne Dorset. He will be sorely missed by all his friends in the Section. The funeral will be on 12th November at 12:40 at the Yeovil Crematorium, Bunford La, Yeovil BA20 2EJ.
